Need CPE Credits for Your CPA? Get Them Through ‘Net Classes

Are you looking to get a few more CPE credits this year for your CPA renewal? Reynolds has several NASBA-accredited ‘Net Classes you can take over the web for both ERA and POWER users.1

This can be a great way to get any remaining CPE credits you need for your CPA accreditation, plus they’ll all help you improve on the software you use daily.

Here are some specifics about signing up:

  • Price: $95 per session, per computer logged in.
  • Date and time: Scheduled regularly and published in the quarterly ‘Net Class schedule.
  • Private classes or custom session times are available to help you meet your specific needs and schedule. (Additional fee may apply.)

ERA® and ERA-IGNITE Classes

ENACC1: ERA Daily Accounting Procedures
EIACC1: ERA-IGNITE Daily Accounting Procedures

This ‘Net Class series covers many of the procedures you will be working with daily. Topics include:

  • Name file and posting controls.
  • Correcting posting errors.
  • Parts, service, and warranty accounting.
  • Vehicle purchases and sales.
  • Cash receipts and disbursements.

ENACC2: ERA Accounting Periodic Procedures

Learn about periodic accounting procedures with the ‘Net Class series. Topics include:

  • Accounts receivable and payable.
  • Bank reconciliation and standard entries.
  • Name maintenance.
  • Daily operating control report.

ENPUR: ERA Purchase Orders
EIPUR: ERA-IGNITE Purchase Orders

The Purchase Orders class series covers creating, managing, authorizing, integrating and controlling purchase orders. Learn to correct errors and make templates to save time, as well as combining purchase orders and Accounting to keep your G/L up to date.

ACCEOY: Accounting End of Year

This course can help you stay organized with an end-of-year checklist, post prior-year adjustments to an operating or balance sheet account, print year-to-date general ledger reports, produce your 13th month financial statement, complete 1099-Miscellaneous forms, and close the alternate year if you have an alternate end-of-year date at your dealership.


POWER Classes

MAC1: Management Accounting Daily Procedures

This course covers all procedures that are regularly done in the Management Accounting application. Topics include:

  • Posting and viewing accounting detail.
  • Controlling journals and G/L accounts.
  • Posting vehicle purchases and sales.
  • Cash receipts.
  • Checkwriter and 1099 reporting.
  • Reconciling bank statements.

MAC2: Periodic Accounting Procedures
CPE Credits: 16.0
9 Sessions
Program level: Basic2

Learn how to execute various procedures that are done on a regular, but not daily basis. Topics include:

  • Batch accounts payable.
  • Parts and service accounting.
  • NAD system and reports.
  • Requesting and maintaining DOC reports.
  • Accounting reports.
  • Standard entries and handling posting errors.
  • End of month procedures.

MAC3: Advanced Management Reports

Program level: Intermediate3

This course is meant for users who have already taken Daily and Periodic Accounting Procedures, and would like to learn the advanced reporting features in their accounting system. Topics include:

  • Building daily operating control reports.
  • Standard DOCs and Instant DOCs.
  • Percent of base comparison DOCs.
  • Financial statement reports.
  • Account analysis reports.

Learn to set up and manage your payroll application with this series. Topics include:

  • Processing a payroll cycle.

PRC: Purchase Requisition Control

This series teaches you how to set up and manage various purchase requisition controls. Topics include:

  • Setting up vendors for PRC.
  • Adding vehicle parts and sublet PRCs.
  • Creating PRC reports.

MACEOY: Accounting End-of-Year
CPE Credits: 1.5
1 Session
Program level: Intermediate3

This class covers the steps that make closing December end-of-month accounting different from closing other months in the year. How to request a 13th month financial statement, create 1099’s and enter auditor’s adjustments is also covered.
